Still need to a bit testing, but I think we need dev-libs/libgcrypt[-threads] dependency for bug 496612, in sys-fs/cryptsetup At least for when USE="static" is enabled in sys-fs/cryptsetup, like said, still need to do a bit testing, but I think it's limited to static linking.
If I remember correctly, without threads even gpg will fail to use library.
Added, although disabling it will probably make all dependencies stop working, we will add threads USE once reports are filed.
How about we not commit things we know are broken to the tree and waiting for the fallout? Users aren't guinea pigs. It's not their job to figure out what you've broken.
