After update nothing is installed to /usr/share/doc, previous version installed these files:
/usr/share/doc/gdbm-1.10/AUTHORS.bz2
/usr/share/doc/gdbm-1.10/ChangeLog.bz2
/usr/share/doc/gdbm-1.10/NEWS.bz2
/usr/share/doc/gdbm-1.10/README.bz2
/usr/share/doc/gdbm-1.10/THANKS.bz2

Seems migration to multilib was done not correctly, similar bugs are bug #518316 and bug #518258
