I'm attempting to set up an npmjs.org mirror, but have noticed a very problematic issue in the process. Whenever an admin user is configured in couchdb, starting the daemon crashes. To reproduce: ACCEPT_KEYWORDS=~amd64 emerge =dev-db/couchdb-1.6.0 vi /etc/couchdb/local.ini edit the last line to enable the admin user: admin = mysecretpassword then start couchdb: build3 couchdb # /etc/init.d/couchdb start * Starting couchdb ... Apache CouchDB has started, time to relax. [ ok ] but check its status: build3 couchdb # /etc/init.d/couchdb status * status: crashed if ran manually via /usr/bin/couchdb, I can get a crashdump (attached). I'd prefer to just wait for 1.6.1, since that should be coming soon.
