kde doesnt install a needed kde.desktop file needed to let gdm (maybe others also?)
know that kde session is around

i copyed the fluxbox.desktop file in /usr/share/xsessions
to kde.desktop and replaced the startfluxbox items to startkde
that were set inside and it showed up fine in gdm and worked

this has been talked about in bug #40711 but didnt seem to of gotten fixed

can i submit a kde.desktop file for you with a diff to an ebuild that install it properly? i will have to do this for icewm too

Should go in files directory - this is used to generate the kde.desktop file.

Just to say that the latest kdebase-3.3.2 seems to have a modified version of this
patch which works great for me - an entry for KDE automatically shows up as 
expected. Hope it works OK for everyone else too.
