Due to the server losses coming up in the next few months.  Older versions of mirrorselect will not work correctly.  This new version fetches it's files via https from api.gentoo.org.  With the consolidation/reduction of resources, that old download site will be going away.

Please stabilize mirrorselect-2.2.2 and it's deps, dev-python/ssl-fetch and dev-python/requests as needed.

Please also see bug 509628 for keyword requests on arches it is not yet keyworded for.

Mirrorselect-2.2.1 was introduced in the tree more than a month ago.  Version 2.2.1 was bumped to 2.2.2 for an API change in ssl-fetch's code.  Neither versions have had any bugs reported.
