Not sure how fast we need to track upstream, but I added this to my pkalin overlay (https://github.com/thinrope/pkalin/) since current snapshot version is already 2.1.0.6 The patch needed rediff. May be just stick to release versions (2.1.0.0 currently)? http://sourceforge.net/projects/dispcalgui/files/release/2.1.0.0/
I compiled 2.6.0.6 yesterday renaming the ebuild, no issues. Agreed that release versions in the official repo would suffice.

Hello. Three days ago version 2.5.0.0 was released. Only a small update to the patch is needed to make it work but it has some changes in the UX that to me seem like some minor bugs but they may be deliberate changes. I wrote to the devs and will wait for a response. Then we will update to 2.5.0.x!

Markos I attach a patch to convert dispcalgui-2.0.0.0.ebuild to dispcalgui-2.5.0.0.ebuild. It only removes two lines from the old ebuild. I believe it is ok to be added to the portage tree but if anyone wants to give it a spin before that, you are welcome!
