When building evemu from source, xmlto or asciidoc is required for man pages to be built. However, evemu's configure scripts don't fail if they're not installed and instead just don't build the man pages and output a warning. Since this ebuild has no dependency on either of the tools, this means that man pages might not be installed with evemu and portage will stay silent about it. The warning the configure scripts output is as follows: … checking for xmlto... /usr/bin/xmlto checking for asciidoc... no configure: WARNING: xmlto or asciidoc not found - cannot create man pages without it …
Generated man pages should generally be bundled with tarball releases so additional deps aren't required. In this case they are included in the tarball but some build system fixes are needed to properly install them, fixed in 1.2.0-r1.
