Description Brian Dolbec (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2014-05-05 15:30:12 UTC
With the new release of mirrorselect-2.2.1 I have introduced a new dependency dev-python/ssl-fetch which is a small wrapper lib wrapping dev-python/requests.

All these are pure python so should not be an issue with keywording.

ssl-fetch is a small lib I broke out of code I developed in layman and am now using in mirrorselect and soon will replace the original code in layman. Ssl-fetch will be used in several other tools soon too. So I am asking for keywording to be done on all arches.

Reproducible: Always

4 pkgs total by my check:

app-portage/mirrorselect-2.2.1
dev-python/ssl-fetch-0.1
dev-python/requests >=dev-python/requests-1.2.1
dev-python/chardet  on some arches

Also note # requests dropped py-3.2 support in >=2.2.0, so for py3.2 compatibility dev-python/requests-2.1.0 should be keyworded, otherwise latest arch is fine.

@python team. I will be asking for stabilization of mirroselect-2.2.1 in 30 days, so please comment which versions you prefer to stabilize/keyword for dev-python/requests.

Bumped to version 2.2.2 due to API changes in ssl-fetch which bumped to 0.2

Bump, this bug is also blocking a new layman release.

keyworded for ~ppc ~ppc64.
Comment 10 Anthony Basile gentoo-dev 2014-08-18 07:02:59 UTC
This should get keyworded on mips too. Why were they not cc-ed?
Comment 11 Brian Dolbec (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2014-08-18 09:52:29 UTC
Hmm, seems I missed adding any of the unstable arches... although mirrorselect didn't get keyworded for some of them in the past...

So adding arm64, sh, s390, x86-fbsd

I'm not sure if any of the other arches want to keyword or not.
Comment 12 Naohiro Aota gentoo-dev 2014-08-28 08:40:02 UTC
~x86-fbsd done.
Comment 13 Joshua Kinard gentoo-dev 2014-08-28 09:14:02 UTC
MIPS only needed mirrorselect re-keyworded, which is done.
Comment 14 Devan Franchini (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2014-09-29 13:57:21 UTC
amd-fbsd should also be keyworded for ssl-fetch.

@jlec,

Why have you re-cced sparc? everything seems to be in order for sparc.
