Description Alexander Tsoy 2014-03-14 12:30:13 UTC
Seahorse fails to start with segfault. From dmesg:

sp 00007ffffdcb55f0 error 5 in libgtk-3.so.0.1000.7[7f5fc7025000+599000]

BT and other info in upstream bug.

seahorse-3.10.2.ebuild.patch

Fix from my local overlay. Unfortunately it adds dependencies on vala and gcr[vala] and works only with MAKEOPTS=j1 :(

This patch allows me to build seahorse with MAKEOPTS=-j2

What steps do you follow for reproducing it? (I am wondering about if we should fast stabilize this since I cannot reproduce the crash here)
Comment 6 Alexander Tsoy 2014-03-15 10:19:51 UTC
Seahorse just immediately crashes on startup on two of my PCs. My be this is only reproducible with a hardened toolchain? The original upstream bug report was opened by an OpenBSD user.

Will CC arches anyway as the patch looks to be fine to upstream (and seahorse still works for me)
