When I attempt to emerge xfree, it fails with the following error:

FATAL: can't create unshared/../../../../../lib/GL/mesa/src/context.o: No such file or directory

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge xfree
2.
3.

Actual Results:

This same error was reported previously Bug 48700 but it was put down to an nfs 
problem.

Not using nfs just normal old stuff ide hdd etc.

Please reopen and change the summary if this is still a problem with >=xorg-x11-6.8.0.
