Description Steven Wagner 2004-05-05 20:21:43 UTC
The ebuild is currently supporting unixODBC but not iODBC. PHP has --configure options for both and both ODBC libraries are widely used. I'd like it for one, as for now Im gonna have to find a way to hack around it.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

submit a patch for it and we'll see about it.
Comment 2 Stuart Herbert (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-06-28 11:00:55 UTC
I'm planning to add iODBC support to the php5 ebuilds. Once we get this working, we could backport it to the php4 eclass if there's sufficient demand.

Best regards,
Stu

Added to the php-5.0.4 ebuilds. As there's been no demand in the last 12
months, I'm unlikely to backport this to the php-4 packages.

Best regards,
Stu
