Description mclark 2013-12-27 06:17:40 UTC
The ExecStart section in /usr/lib64/systemd/system/bitlbee.service had the path as /usr/bin//bitlbee however it installs under /usr/sbin/bitlbee and this causes it fail when trying to start using systemd

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge net-im/bitlbee
2. systemctl start bitlbee
3.
Actual Results:
bitlbee does not start as it should

Expected Results:
bitlbee should have started

Reassigning to systemd since I don't have systems to test with.
Comment 2 Mike Gilbert gentoo-dev 2014-01-24 03:02:26 UTC
This has already been fixed in later versions of the package.

Either backport it, or close this bug. You don't need systemd installed to fix this.
