Description Hiroshi Takenaka 2013-12-16 11:59:48 UTC
I've been trying to install gentoo on VMWare Workstation 9.
However, I cannot boot gentoo when framebuffer is on.
Without framebuffer, my gentoo boots up normally.

I've followed the folowing gentoo documents.

Now I'm trying vesafb.
I also tried uvesafb.

With both framebuffers, booting process stops after the message of 'Waiting for uevents to be processed'. And it won't go beyond that.

Please inform me any configuration files you need.
I will try to take them out of my gentoo.
