Hi! Fontconfig ultimate is a set of rendering and font replacement rules for fontconfig with infinality patches. It consists of lcdfilter script for eselect-lcdfilter and three presets for eselect-infinality (ms, free and custom). This package is supposed to be a "install and forget" replacement for gentoo's customizable eselect fontconfig (and more thanks to font replacement rules). The URL describes "infinality bundle". This package + fontconfig[infinality] is virtually the same on Gentoo (cairo already has "respect infinality" patches). Ebuild notes: - There is some seding in the ebuild because upstream's distribution doesn't make much sense in Gentoo (they patch a fontconfig source just to change .conf files installed by default) and would break the "easy to setup" goal. - Upstream is quite active so I've added an live ebuild. - All main fonts are there but there are still many font replacements which cannot be found in main portage tree. (For example Courier New => Courier Prime) I'll be adding them gradually if there is an interest. If someone is interested in maintaining this I can share a full listing of fonts that are in the portage, packages they belong to and fonts out of portage.
