Fish 2.1.0-r1 have been in testing for one month now. Time for stabilization request to appear! :) I seen bug #490478, which might be considered as a blocker? I don't know about that. To me, missing python dep in gentoo seems not that bad since the entire package-manager is written in python. This might be a problem if you look at other distros using fish-packages, or people using alternative package-managers like paludis. But well, I tested the scripts I know of written in Python for fish (fish_config and fish_update_completions). And they seems to work well with python-3.3.2 at least. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge =app-shells/fish-2.1.0-r1 Actual Results: Needs keywords! Expected Results: Fish installed!
I'd like to solve bug #490478 first. Although I don't know when I have time to fix that bug properly.
