Description Mark I Manning IV 2013-11-15 17:20:23 UTC
When single stepping stripped binaries (or in my case JIT code layed down by my Forth compiler) GDB reports errors related to it being unable to access address zero and it not being able to determine the bounds of the current funciton.

The following patch fixes this issue (not created by me :)

upstream has also declined to pick up this patch ...

Is this still relevant for gcc-8.1-r1 ?
