Description Benjamin Orchard 2004-04-26 20:50:49 UTC
Summary: Scribus v 1.1.5 fails to build, exiting with no error and a segfault.
Troubleshooting: I tried it a second time, and got this:
gibmeister root # emerge -v scribus
Calculating dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 1) app-office/scribus-1.1.5 to /
/usr/sbin/ebuild.sh: line 6:  8476 Segmentation fault      chmod g+w "${T}/eclass-debug.log" >&/dev/null
/usr/sbin/ebuild.sh: line 1436:  8487 Segmentation fault      touch "${T}/successful" >&/dev/null
>>> md5 src_uri ;-) scribus-1.1.5.tar.gz
/usr/sbin/ebuild.sh: line 355: syntax error near unexpected token `)'
/usr/sbin/ebuild.sh: line 355: `        )fi'

Kernel: gentoo-dev-sources (2.6.3)
WM: Xfce4
System: Athlon XP 3200+, geforce MX, gigabyte mainboard.

Make output: This is the output that I got, in its entirety:

Can you try out 1.1.7 and see if the bug still occurs?
