Arches, please test and mark stable: =app-office/taskcoach-1.3.32 Target keywords : "amd64 x86"
Current version is 1.3.40. I am using taskcoach since version 1.3.27 now, and update in via my overlay (seden) whenever an update is available. Until now it was (and is) perfectly stable.
Then, go for =app-office/taskcoach-1.3.40? If so, please, change bug's summary. Thanks.
went for 1.3.40 on x86!
=app-office/taskcoach-1.3.40 builds fine on amd64 but I get this error when running: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/python-exec/python2.7/taskcoach.py", line 72, in <module> start() File "/usr/lib/python-exec/python2.7/taskcoach.py", line 63, in start app = application.Application(options, args) File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/taskcoachlib/patterns/singleton.py", line 29, in __call__ class_.instance = super(Singleton, class_).__call__(*args, **kwargs) File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/taskcoachlib/application/application.py", line 117, in __init__ self.init(**kwargs) File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/taskcoachlib/application/application.py", line 226, in init self.settings, splash=splash) File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/taskcoachlib/gui/mainwindow.py", line 92, in __init__ self.taskFile.efforts()) File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/taskcoachlib/gui/idlecontroller.py", line 84, in __init__ super(IdleController, self).__init__() File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/taskcoachlib/patterns/observer.py", line 333, in __init__ super(Observer, self).__init__(*args, **kwargs) File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/taskcoachlib/powermgt/idle.py", line 111, in __init__ IdleQuery.__init__(self) File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/taskcoachlib/powermgt/idle.py", line 46, in __init__ _xss = CDLL('libXss.so.1') File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/ctypes/__init__.py", line 365, in __init__ self._handle = _dlopen(self._name, mode) OSError: libXss.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
(In reply to Chema Alonso from comment #4) > OSError: libXss.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or > directory Weird. This lib belongs to x11-libs/libXScrnSaver. So does it work without any tracebback when you emerge libXScrnSaver? I'd add an RDEPEND on it then.
Yes, the application works when I install x11-libs/libXScrnSaver
(In reply to Chema Alonso from comment #6) > Yes, the application works when I install x11-libs/libXScrnSaver Okay, app-office/taskcoach-1.4.0-r1 in my overlay 'seden' now has an RDEPEND on x11-libs/libXScrnSaver.
CC back arches when the bug is resolved.
