Description Maciej Piechotka 2013-08-11 15:01:33 UTC
net-libs/gnutls-3.2.2 breaks the TLS with some sites on www-client/epiphany-3.8.2. The gnutls-3.2.1 works and gnutls-3.2.3 was reported to fix the problem (https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=704749#c3).

3.2.2 was never in the tree, it seems. We have 3.2.3 though.

Sorry - This was my sloppiness and I convinced myself it was a duplicate while it seems to be brand new bug. I was able to turn it on/off by upgrading/downgrading the gnutls but I thought that I'm upgrading/downgrading 3.2.1<->3.2.2 while I was upgrading/downgrading 3.2.1<->3.2.3.

Probably a gnutls problem:

Those link have been given in original report and URL but the version does not match (those were fixed in 3.2.3 while this bug is not.

They refer to a 3.2.3-1 version that I am not sure if is a version with some patch provided by their distro or some upstream revision after 3.2.3 release :/
