Description Jelle Kalf 2004-04-16 01:37:52 UTC
Please rename "evo" to the standard "evolution"
when doing "emerge -qpv multisync" nobody will understand that evo means evolution.

You can't expect a user to be smart enough to open up the ebuild and spit inside to find out that evo stand for evolution.

Reproducible: Always

evo is a global use flag that is used by more packages than just multisync.

http://www.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/profiles/use.desc?rev=1.152&content-type=text/vnd.viewcvs-markup or /usr/portage/profiles/use.desc describes the use flag and how it us used.

For the moment I'm closing this as WONTFIX and talk to the maintainers of the other ebuilds and see about changing evo to evolution across the tree.
