rtl8180 firmware in portage says my kernel configuration is missing wireless_ext.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.echo "net-wireless/rtl8180 **" >> /etc/portage/package.accept_keywords
2.emerge -av rtl8180
3.
Actual Results:  
CONFIG_WIRELESS_EXT:	 is not set when it should be.

Expected Results:  
 * GNU info directory index is up-to-date.
