Here's the thing, tried clicking a link that led me to https://www.google.com/maps/preview#.... upon opening the page browser crashes. Here's some output from the console

zsh: segmentation fault  firefox

My fox USE flags:
+alsa +gstreamer +jit +minimal +system-cairo +system-jpeg +system-sqlite
-everything_else

Problem goes away if I disable JS (page doesn't render anything, since the all the HTML is built from within the JS....).

This is pretty annoying, since it's not the offending tab that crashes, but the whole browser goes away...

What are the ways of investigating this further?

Without emerge info we have no clue as to what arch you are working with or any way to duplicate your issue. Once you can provide the emerge info please reopen bug report.
