I had a hard time fixing this. it seems the latest firefox expects plugins in yet another location, and gentoo doesn't create links for it: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-958702-highlight-flash.html Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: emerge firefox-bin Actual Results: /opt/firefox/browser/plugins doesn't exist and plugins aren't found Expected Results: plugins work :-)
Your emerge --info is missing which would be required for the timestamp on tree, nsplugin.eclass has an apropriate symlink setup for fx-21.0 and newer
