Please stabilize sys-apps/portage-2.1.12.2. The most important change is that FEATURES=preserve-libs is enabled by default (see corresponding news item, discussed at http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.gentoo.devel/86014). Bug 468524 tracks all bugs fixed since 2.1.11.62.
