Comment 1 Faber 2004-04-08 10:03:17 UTC
I've the same problem using 2004.0 release; bug 47168 has been marked as RESOLVED, but I've not understood how can I continue to emergin' system.

How can I solve? Any suggestion?
Comment 2 Sebastian Guarino 2004-04-08 10:26:49 UTC
The bug was fixed, you can fetch manually the ebuild from web cvs:
http://www.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/net-misc/iputils/iputils-020927.ebuild?rev=1.17

or wait to propagate it to rsync servers and try emerge sync.
Comment 3 Faber 2004-04-08 11:56:01 UTC
So, I've to wait (some hours? days?), then try emerge sync followed by emerge system? (I'm new to Gentoo...)

Thanks
Comment 4 Faber 2004-04-08 17:19:11 UTC
Solved by running emerge sync followed by emerge system.
