few times in a row at an stable x86 :

It was updated long ago.

and it failes *today* and GW is known to change their file w/o re-versioning it - so did you really verified that the checksum is valid ?

Furthermore the packages seems not only to be re-packed, the contents might br very different to that of the past - I copied the ebuild to my local overlay, re-created the digest but get now :
