Terminator will segfault when run over a tightvnc session. This is almost certainly the same as a reported debian bug (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=593371). Indeed, running the test python script provided there results in a segfault.

This is a problem in dev-libs/keybinder. However, x11-terms/terminator depends on dev-libs/keybinder with the 'python' use flag. This flag does not exist for the newer version of keybinder, although I don't know if the debian bug is fixed there (or even if that newer version has the python part available).

Note that terminator works correctly outside of vnc.

please retry with current keybinder versions
