http://xodnizel.net/sexypsf/ sexypsf is a psf (Playstation Format?) player for Linux and xmms. It has a commandline (mpg123-ish) player and an (optional) xmms plugin. PSF is a sort of de-facto standard for storing and playing music ripped from certain kinds of playstation games. PSF2 is for PS2 games, but this won't handle them. The program is so simple that I can't imagine my ebuild has more than administrative bugs. Works fine for me on x86 Linux, with trusted PSFs. I have no idea about other platforms, and the author warns that it may be insecure -- it is possible to crash xmms with a bad psf file, and may be possible to take control of it (buffer overrun). My only patch (files/gentoo-0.4.5.patch) was to force it to use the user's CFLAGS. This is also stable for me. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

Created attachment 28225 [details, diff] files/gentoo-0.4.5.patch forces sexypsf to use the user's CFLAGS, losing its own optimizations
Unless the showstopper bug has been fixed, this is still WONTFIX *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 19525 ***
