Description Navid Zamani 2013-03-01 13:34:04 UTC
When trying to emerge dev-libs/ppl-0.11.2-r1, it fails, and the following error is the first one (line 35) in the (attached) build log file:

What nonsense. Emerge outputs the stuff in the local language. So that’s what I’ll post. Actually, why don’t you speak German to me? (The reason is the same.)

And it’s not like there are problems with understanding the log, when there’s barely any words in *any* language in there.

Also, I did you the courtesy of editing the bug title, to remove/translate German words, and you go and change it back? Why? So you could use it to strengthen your non-argument?

Are you new here?

Well, you’ve got the wrong person to play these silly games. Like most Gentoo users, I’m already used to having patch ebuilds/packages myself, because this petty nonsense is not worth it.

So you can have a buggy package in your repository, or you learn to deal with it. Works for me, either way.

I don't speak German, while you obviously speak English. If you're asking me to fix this for you then we're going to have to speak a common language. That language is English, whether you like it or not.

I didn't change the bug title. The bug wrangler did.

Also, next time you file a bug try searching (in English) first.
