Description Mark Reiche 2013-02-23 21:12:41 UTC
In my attempt to emerge util-linux-2.22.2 on my uclibc system, I came across a patch written by Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>

This enables the assignment-allocation "m" character - without it, util-linux-2.22.2 fails to build.

Could you please add this patch to the tree?

Reproducible: Always

Patch that adds support for "m" character

I had to modify the patch from the git repository a little bit, so that it applies to version 0.9.33.2-r2

You probably need to merge this patch as well

i already committed these to uclibc-0.9.33.2-r3 which has been in the tree for a month or so at this point

should be all set now in the tree; thanks for the report!

FYI, the new stage3-<arch>-hardened and stage3-<arch>-vanilla under /experimental/<arch/uclibc are using -r3.
