Upon connecting to an RDP host, the display is off-center. For me it basically displays the bottom-right quadrant of the remote host's screen, placed in the upper left quadrant of the remmina window. Resizing the window will make things snap back to normal, but this is required at EVERY reconnection. The same issue is described at the old upstream bug tracker here: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3527523&group_id=278330&atid=1181674 And also in a comment in another one of our bugs here: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=443924#c8 And finally I have reported a new bug upstream at https://github.com/FreeRDP/Remmina/issues/143
After some lib updates *somewhere*, I'm no longer able to reproduce this bug. If anyone else can still repro, feel free to reopen.
Created attachment 356102 [details] screenshot This is back. I don't know what changed to bring this issue back, but I have: net-misc/freerdp-1.1.0_beta1_p20130710 net-misc/remmina-1.0.0_p20130723
This package is pretty much unmaintained upstream, and I have no interest in taking that burden on. If you can provide a patch to fix the problem, I can push it upstream; short of that, I can't help you.
is this still valid with 1.2.0_rc3?
No it's not, I have been on 9999 for a while to work around the issue so I didn't see that version was in the tree... that definitely has the fix. Thanks!
