Description Benjamin Bannier 2012-12-30 00:32:45 UTC
Hi,

I experience reproducible GLX errors using the intel driver. A simplest test
case would be using sci-physics/root

    $ cat test.C
    {
    TH1D h;
    h.Draw();
    }

    $ root -l -q -n test.C

This crashes with some message about BadAlloc.

This issue is fixed upstream with a very simple patch which applies cleanly at
least on x11-base/xorg-server-1.13.1; I didn't check others. Is providing
an ebuild which fix this issue before this gets released an option?

Cheers,

Benjamin

Reproducible: Always
