Upstream doesn't ship it yet, though it's present in other distros that support systemd.

Thanks for the submission.

I don't have (nor plan to have) a systemd system to test this; so if you're willing to help and ensure that slim works fine in systemd with this unit file, I will certainly include it.  However if you or others are unable to do so I would rather leave it out of the ebuild, as I don't want to give the impression in any way at all that slim is supported with systemd.

Please let me know.

It works for me, that's why I've filled this bug in the first place ;-)
