Description MATSUI Tetsushi 2012-12-26 01:01:06 UTC
Trying to emerge sage from sage-on-gentoo overlay fails before starting any package installation with ValueError.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. prepare sage-on-gentoo overlay
2. emerge sage

Actual Results:
These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!
Traceback (most recent call last):
...
ValueError: 'python_single_target_python2_7' flag is not in IUSE and is not an alias of any flag in IUSE of 'sci-mathematics/sage-notebook-0.10.2-r3::sage-on-gentoo'

Expected Results:
Emerge sage and related packages.

I have an x86 virtual machine and do not have this problem on it.
I haven't experienced the same error with any other packages in the prefix tree.

isn't this a problem of the ebuild/eclass in the sage overlay?
Comment 4 Arfrever Frehtes Taifersar Arahesis 2012-12-26 20:36:34 UTC
Prefix Portage should be updated. See bug #446666.
Comment 5 Fabian Groffen gentoo-dev 2012-12-26 22:15:45 UTC
it got bumped today, so chances are it is fixed in the latest version then?
Comment 6 MATSUI Tetsushi 2012-12-27 01:37:13 UTC
Yup. I updated portage to 2.2.01.21476, and it works fine.
