After upgrading to openrc-0.11.8 my containers are not able to start their network because the checks for lo and eth0 use /sys which isn't being mounted. Originally sysfs was mounted as a dep from net.lo, but sysfs was recently keyworded -lxc. Note that adding sysfs directly to the boot runlevel has no effect, but sysfs can be started by calling the init script directly, after which the network can be started. This seems related to bug https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=425790 lxc2 lxc # lxc-start -n mx INIT: version 2.88 booting OpenRC 0.11.8 is starting up Gentoo Linux (x86_64) [LXC] * Mounting /proc ...
