sys-apps/coreutils-8.20 was built with the following:
USE="acl (multilib) nls -caps -gmp (-selinux) -static -vanilla -xattr"
Comment 1 David Fellows 2012-12-08 19:43:23 UTC
Specifying MAKEOPTS="-j1"
allows the build to succeed.
Comment 2 Stefan Richter 2012-12-08 21:09:20 UTC
I confirm the issue and the workaround on X86 and on AMD64.
Comment 3 Tom Wijsman (TomWij) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-12-08 23:10:46 UTC
You should be able to `emerge --sync` to resolve this.

Please look whether there already are existing bugs before you report a new bug.
