Description Agostino Sarubbo gentoo-dev 2012-11-22 21:11:33 UTC
You receive this bug because this package does not respect my system's RANLIB ( x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-ranlib - /usr/bin/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-ranlib ) and calls directly ranlib - /usr/bin/ranlib
The possible solutions to fix this issue are:
1)Fix the buildsystem, if you can
2)inherit toolchain-funcs and use tc-export RANLIB
3)inherit toolchain-funcs and use emake RANLIB="$(tc-getRANLIB)"

ranlib libselinux.a

Ok, updated Makefile to have RANLIB ?= ranlib and used tc-export RANLIB in the ebuild.

Ebuild is currently in hardened-dev overlay for testing (it also contains a fix for ruby stuff) and will be moved to main tree shortly after.

Moved to main tree, ~arch'ed
