In my opinion, for autotools pkgs that are semi-regularly updated and will output verbose logs when updated to EAPI 5, it's not worth reporting new verbose build bugs as they will probably just sit there until EAPI 5 is used. However, there are plenty of other build systems used, custom makefiles especially, that often don't output verbose logs by default so the tracker is helpful. In summary, report whatever bugs you like but assume devs might ignore ones that are fixed when updating to EAPI 5.
