I just had spent hours to get systemd cryptsetup of my /home partition to work, because systemd misses the special Gentoo config in /etc/conf.d/dmcrypt

Please unify config or get users informed via a news issue.

So you're saying that every single package you may install in the future should issue news items (which you won't read anyway because you're not interested in them right now) that it needs to be configured?
