I emerged successfully firefox-14.0.1 for my PowerMac G5 running PPC64 with patch(bug #427612), but it does not work. With out a backtrace or even an strace -f I am not sure what you are epecting us to do. If you can provide a strace -f or a proper backtrace would allow for us to find and fix the problem.
