Seems two upstreams got into a fight with each other.

I found a patch supplied by redhat here:

http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/gdb.git/tree/gdb-glibc-vdso-workaround.patch

I'd like to suggest we apply this patch for now until upstream gets fixed.
