livedvd-amd64-multilib-11.2.iso was ok to boot and play with but livedvd-amd64-multilib-2012.1.iso don't boot. If I choose boot gentoo I see black window and nothing happens. When I choose nofb then I see why nothing happens, is it kernel panic. It's sad. Will I have the success boot if I'll try livedvd-x86-amd64-32ul-2012.1.iso? Or may it means that Linux Kernel 3.3.0 not compatible with my CPU? Intel-R-_Core-TM-_i3-2120_CPU_@_3.30GHz
It stops with this message: Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!
I have the same problem with livedvd-amd64-multilib-2012.1.iso with my new PC (Asus P8Z77-VLX with a core i5 cpu). Putting acpi=off in the boot options seem to fix the problem.
please try with latest livedvd and report back.
