Description Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-07-21 15:17:09 UTC
The test dependencies are not ~ppc so if you could see to test and keyword them, it'll be nice.

Otherwise you can also decide to drop ~ppc out of munin and be done with it if you don't have the manpower to manage it.

I'll get to it today.
Comment 2 Michael Weber (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-08-21 12:48:43 UTC
I Just masked USE ipmi in arch/powerpc (no IPMI outside of Intels world).
Chainsaw suggested to mask it global and activate it on amd64/x86/ia64.

These need keywording, too

dev-perl/Test-MockModule
dev-perl/Test-Differences

I've followed Tony's suggestion and now ipmi is masked everywhere but the Intel arches.
Comment 5 Michael Weber (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-08-21 15:58:51 UTC
ppc keyworded, closing.

flameeyes:
Can you please not mask IPMI on any arches.
I have explicitly got ipmitool installed on the embedded machine that runs some firewalls, so that I can reach amd64 machines. There is NOTHING about it that requires you use it on a local machine.
Comment 7 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-08-21 17:04:57 UTC
I masked the flag — which as far as I could tell is currently only used by munin.

The packages are not masked and are up to keywording by each arch on their will.
