emerge ntp requires file j2sdk-1_4_1-doc.zip from Sun web site. That file is no longer presented on that site, it's replaced with version 1.4.2.
please provide more info ... as it is, you havent provided much of anything
This is the only information I have. For some reason, JDK doc is in ntp dependancies, and is required for personal download from Sun' site. The problem is - Sun took the required version of the file off from their server. The package name is java-sdk-docs-1.4.1.ebuild and it should be java-sdk-docs-1.4.1.ebuild. Also, there are other version of the package in portage - java-sdk-docs-1.3.1.ebuild. It's, probably, also using the java sdk doc zip-file not available any more. My ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86"/
dev-java/java-sdk-docs-1.4.1 is the outdated ebuild, whitch lacks the file portage tells me to download USE keywords I think is related: "doc java" java-sdk-docs-1.4.2 (current) is in portage, but for a strange reason, 1.4.1 is prefered (a "locked" dependency (=), perhaps?)
The system defaults to blackdown. Blackdown's version is 1.4.1 That might be the reason for portage to chose java-sdk-1.4.1 (I have tryed to look into it's ebuild, but I can not find anything, exept that it inharites java and nsplugins, but I get noting out of them eather. Perhaps it is becuase I am to tired (it is 1:27 in the morning here))
The file can be downloaded from, as the java-sdk-docs-1.4.1 ebuild http://java.sun.com/products/archive/j2se/1.4.1_07/index.html I've regenerated the digest, since Sun suck and updated the binary contents of the file without changing the file version name. Again!
