Description Francisco J. Vazquez 2012-07-04 10:52:00 UTC
This bug explains it all: https://bugzilla.icculus.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5460

Basically, clicking in certain areas in a gtk+-3.4 application will segfault openbox, closing everything with it. This makes it unusable. I've been having these random logouts for weeks (and losing work with them), until I finally found that bug. The page linked above has a patch that works fine and solves the problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. launch evince-3.4 inside openbox 3.5.0
2. click in the toolbar near a separator (the linked page has an image with the "dangerous" zones)
3. see openbox segfault

I can't find the fix in their git

Oops sorry I was wrong. I'll see if that applies to the version we have

Fixed. Thanks a lot for reporting here and upstream
