Hello,

I have modified the existing 1.7.9-r2 ebuild to create a 9999 ebuild.
This ebuild gets the source code from git, and it has available the cuda use flag.
Now you can harness the power of your nVidia card to crack passwords faster.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add this ebuild to your local overlay
2. Add 'app-crypt/johntheripper **' to your package.keywords file
3. emerge app-crypt/johntheripper

The release has cuda and opencl support, I really don't think we need a git ebuild of john the ripper, nor do I honestly believe I would be able to keep it functional. We would need a very serious maintainer to keep up with such a thing, and sadly that's just not me right now.

This bug was filed at 2012-06-24, and the release has opencl and cuda support since 2012-07-05. So..., it's too late. There is no need to have a git ebuild for JTR right now :-)

Closing this bug is ok.
