Emering net-analyzer/munin failed due to munin installer using the groupadd -r switch. This switch isn't available in the groupadd version i had on a system with some outdated packages. A simple fix to this bug would be to require a minimum version of the sys-apps/shadow that implements this feature.

My currect version of shadow is: sys-apps/shadow-4.0.18.1-r1

Ugh, no.  sys-apps/shadow is not a direct dependency of mumin.  You need to upgrade. >=sys-apps/shadow-4.1 is the min version required nowadays.
