I've worked around it by copying the patch from another Gentoo box, but the ebuild should be updated/superseded. the old patch is no longer available, though it is still on the gentoo mirrors. there is a new version of the qmail qregex-starttls-2way-auth patch available at <http://www.arda.homeunix.net/store/qmail/qregex-starttls-2way-auth-20040605.patch> see also bug 56512.
