When trying to upgrade from apr-1.4.5 to 1.4.6, I get this compile error:

I found a thread reporting a similar problem on Gentoo Forums, and they fixed it by rebuilding libtool.

Thank Richard, re-emerging libtool solved the issue.  I'm resolving the issue an fixed.
