Created attachment 91595 [details] An updated ebuild with more keywords, no license, and a wrong (but functional) DEPEND line. Without checking bugzilla, I found the jnrowe source and made a nearly identical ebuild. It runs fine on my amd64 system, and since it is a very slight change to the bfm sources, should run on several platforms. Mine is named gkrellm-bfm2, but feel free to make it the official bfm (haha). It should be posible to build both from a single ebuild based on USE flags. (to build for gkrellm-1, simply pass "gkrellm1" to emake... :) Now might be a good time to mirror that gzip file, too, since it hasn't been updated in years and the author has lost interest.
Created attachment 91596 [details] An ebuild of jnrowe's gkrellm-2.x version of bubblefishymon, updated. New for 1:17PM: Added gentoo foundation copyright (look mom, no ego)! Also, updated the DEPEND line to specify "=app-admin/gkrellm-2*". That should allow any compatible gkrellm to work, shouldn't it? I see someone actually reported that their build didn't work with the 0.6.3 build, but that looks like a problem at their end, and not a problem with the bfm package. I also updated the description to highlight bubblefishymon's unique characteristics. :)
Version 0.6.4 added for gkrellm2. - Added patch to honour user CFLAGS (adapted from the one in x11-plugins/bfm)
